The second annual Pickleball in the Clouds Tournament wrapped up on Sunday afternoon with stands full of spectators, students, and community volunteers.
The event drew players from El Paso, Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Midland, Artesia, and Ruidoso to the village to play indoors at the Cloudcroft High School and Middle School gyms, which volunteers from Pickleball Addicts of Cloudcroft and We Love Cloudcroft had prepared for the tournament.
The village is laying a new acrylic surface on the outdoor Zenith Park courts this month. Their completion was delayed by rain, leaving them unready in time for this year’s tournament—they should be ready for summer play soon…
