WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Williamson County commissioners approved sending some bodies to Fort Bend County for autopsies and changing how the county transports the deceased on Tuesday.
Williamson County commissioners approved an agreement allowing the county to send bodies to Fort Bend County for autopsies in a 4-1 vote. Under that agreement, Williamson County will pay $2,600 per full autopsy and $850 for an external exam, depending on the level of examination required.
