Milwaukee County Transit System audit finds contracts were not reviewed by county board

A new audit of the Milwaukee County Transit System found contracts that cost millions of dollars had not been reviewed by the county board.

The audit comes nearly a year after the transit system announced a $10.9 million budget deficit in June of 2025.
