Six years after announcing a project to build a $5 million hurricane-safety shelter at Covenant Christian School in Conroe, officials say the structure is expected to be completed in July.
Despite the slow progress on the project and delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both county and school officials say the project is a “win-win.”
