Four additional tornadoes are confirmed to have touched down Sunday night in southwest Missouri.
The first to touch down shortly before 7 o’clock was first reported earlier this week; an EF-0 in Greene County near the town of Battlefield. That tornado packed winds of 70 mph with a path that was 50 yards wide and was on the ground for 0.4 miles. Tree damage was associated with that twister.
The National Weather Service reported four additional tornadoes on Tuesday night, including two in Christian County and two in Douglas County. The first to touch down in Christian County was an EF-0 that touched down near Spokane and Highlandville. That twister was on the ground for 0.2 miles with a width of 50 yards and 74 mph winds.
