Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson Delivers Retaliatory Elbow to Victor Wembanyama in NBA Finals
NEW YORK CITY – Tensions flared in Game 4 of the NBA Finals as New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson appeared to respond to Victor Wembanyama’s controversial shove of Jalen Brunson just two days prior.
Late in the first quarter, Wembanyama showcased his skill with a difficult hook shot over Robinson, pushing the Spurs’ lead to 37-20. However, as Wembanyama sprinted back on defense, Robinson trailed closely behind and delivered a hard elbow to the face of the towering 7-foot-4 French star, causing him to fall to the court.
The incident has added another layer of intensity to the Finals, with both teams exchanging physical plays amid the high stakes.
