COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — We are less than a week away from the Georgia runoff elections and time is running out to cast your ballot. Columbus voters continue to head to the polls in advance of Tuesday’s elections.
As of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, nearly 8,000 people have voted in Muscogee County since early voting started on Monday. Nearly 3,000 have voted today alone.
The only early voting location in Columbus is at the City Services Center off Macon Road. Polls are open through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Two Columbus city council seats will be decided on Tuesday. In District 7, Rebecca Zajac and Laketha Ashe are on the runoff ballot, while John Anker and Cathy Cook are going head-to-head for the district 9 at-large seat…
