Woman charged in 2022 shooting; remains at large

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A woman has been indicted and charged with murder more than four years after allegedly killing a man.

Columbus police said on Wednesday that Alyssia C. Albert, 31, has been indicted on charges of aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery, and tampering with evidence in connection with the Feb. 18, 2022, killing of Anthony Wagner. Police said Albert remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Midland Avenue at approximately 6:19 a.m. on Feb. 18 for a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Wagner, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Columbus police said detectives investigated the shooting for the last four years, eventually naming Albert as a suspect. The case was presented to a grand jury in April, leading to the charges…
