(KRON) — Police found approximately 20 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Redwood City Tuesday night, leading to the arrests of two individuals, according to authorities.
The enforcement stop occurred around 7 p.m. in the area of Fifth Avenue and Spring Street. The two occupants of the car were identified by the Redwood City Police Department as Susano Romero-Aguirre, 52, of Redwood City, and Huber Carillo-Ortiz, 41, of Oakland.
A subsequent search warrant executed at a Redwood City residence in the 100 block of Broadway uncovered another 3 pounds of methamphetamine, police said.
Romero-Aguirre and Carillo-Ortiz were arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Maguire Correctional Facility for possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit a felony…
