A Riverside Restaurant Is Closing After Owners Called It a ‘Rough Year’

Prospect Five Points is closing permanently after nearly five years in business. The wine bar and restaurant provided Jacksonville’s Riverside community with a range of food and wine offerings over the years.

The restaurant announced its closure in a recent Instagram post. Its owners stated that the restaurant was facing a “rough year.” The owners said they explored several options to keep the business operating but were unable to reverse its challenges. A current slow season added to the troubles of the Jacksonville-based establishment.

Customers responded to the announcement in the comments section. One of them inquired regarding its final day of service; Prospect Five Points confirmed that it shut down operations on June 28, 2026.
