As another successful school year comes to a close, Oak Ridge Schools has announced several leadership appointments in preparation for the 2026-27 academic year.
Dr. Amanda Tinker has been appointed Director of Student Supports following the retirement of Dr. Larrissa Henderson. Previously serving as Student Services Coordinator, Dr. Tinker has led efforts supporting English learner, migrant, and immigrant students while ensuring Title III compliance across the district.
In her new role, Dr. Tinker will oversee a broad range of student support services, including McKinney-Vento programs, student enrollment processes, and tuition and cross-boundary enrollment.
