PETA offers reward for information after dog found injured in garbage bag near Iroquois Park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – PETA is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever abandoned an injured dog found in a garbage bag near Iroquois Park on April 28.

Combined with a reward offered by Hagan Properties, the total reward now stands at up to $15,000.

According to reports, a groundskeeper at Iroquois Golf Course heard an animal crying and followed the sound to a black plastic trash bag along the side of the road. The groundskeeper opened the bag and found a husky named Sammie with severe injuries and twine wrapped around her snout…
