Nick Reiner demands $1.5M trust access for legal defense while facing charges in parents’ killings

Nick Reiner, the son of the late filmmaker Rob Reiner and the photographer-producer Michele Singer Reiner, is trying to get access to a trust fund that’s worth more than $1.5 million as he keeps battling murder charges tied to the deaths of his parents.

According to court documents obtained by People on Monday, the 32-year-old has filed in a California court seeking to have funds released from a trust set up for him. In his request, he argues he needs the funds to hire private counsel and also to pay for basic costs while he’s incarcerated…
