Metro Nashville Public Schools investigating after bus driver knocked down pole in crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Public Schools is investigating after a school bus crashed and knocked over a pole on Wednesday morning.

MNPS officials said no one was injured and that all students were taken to their “Promising Scholars site.”

The crash happened around 8:41 a.m. at Woodycrest Avenue between Lester Avenue and Hackworth Street and the area remained closed for hours, according to the Nashville Department of Transportation…
