A 17-year-old boy has been charged in the shooting of an 18-year-old man following a dispute last week, Elk Grove police said.
The juvenile suspect was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and additional firearm-related charges by the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, according to a statement Wednesday from the Elk Grove Police Department.
Investigators determined the victim and suspect had been involved in a dispute at a festival in Sacramento.
