A large residential development with some commercial property is being planned for the area along Johnston Street near E Broussard Road.
The Lafayette city zoning commission will consider a request to rezone property in the 6800 block of Johnston Street for a project that will include 273 lots for single family homes and 250 feet of frontage for commercial development.
