PLANO, Texas — A 42-year-old Mexican national has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for his role in a cocaine trafficking conspiracy, according to U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs.
Abrahan Solano-Zarate, who was illegally residing in Dallas, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. He was sentenced to 168 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Sean D. Jordan on June 10, 2026. Court documents revealed that Solano-Zarate was involved in a conspiracy that trafficked large quantities of cocaine from Mexico into the Eastern District of Texas and beyond, admitting responsibility for distributing at least five kilograms of cocaine.
This case is part of the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) initiative, established by Executive Order 14159, Protecting the American People Against Invasion.
