There will be plenty of events surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Houston, but there are two main tentpoles to the festivities.
The biggest attraction is the actual tournament. NRG Stadium, which will be temporarily known as Houston Stadium for the tournament, is set to host seven matches from June 14 to July 4.
The other is FIFA Fan Fest, located over a multiple-block stretch in EaDo just south of Shell Energy Stadium. Run by Houston’s local host committee for the World Cup, the festival will serve as a gathering place for fans to watch games, have fun and experience Houston culture…
