WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Kansas zoo is cleaning up extensive damage from Monday’s severe storms.
Rolling Hills Zoo near Salina said along with the power outage experienced by multiple counties, it also has tree and limb damage, in addition to structural damage to the rhino barn, maintenance building and several solar panels.
The zoo said that generators are keeping essential facilities powered and that all of its animals are unharmed and being well cared for.

Rolling Hills is closed until further notice. The zoo said crews are busy working to clear debris, assess damage and restore operations.
