ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A week after a second fire erupted at a South Valley recycling plant, two neighboring businesses are now preparing for demolition.

Khalil Samaha has made a career out of his Samcar auto dealership and Cedars Construction, but in a matter of hours, nearly two decades of work on Broadway is now rubble and ash after the next-door business Town Recycling, saw another fire breakout, the second in two weeks.
“I was here at that moment, and I called the 911, and the fire started really slow, and it picked up very fast,” said Samaha.
Calling it merciless, Samaha said the fire consumed everything from work trucks and tools to his priceless collectible cars, “Well, it’s hard to see that what you worked for for 25 years, it’s going away in three hours or an hour or something.”…
