CANYON COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — A judge has moved the trial of Stacey Wondra in the case of missing Fruitland boy Michael Vaughan from Payette County to Canyon County after attorneys on both sides argued that finding a fair and impartial jury locally would be difficult.
Michael was 5 years old when he disappeared from his neighborhood in July 2021. He has never been found.
Wondra, who lived less than half a mile from Michael’s home, is charged with murder, kidnapping, and destruction of evidence. He has pleaded not guilty…
