2 men sentenced to life in prison in human trafficking case in Ascension Parish

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Texas man and an Arizona man were sentenced to life in prison after an Ascension Parish jury convicted them of charges related to a human trafficking investigation.

According to the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Jayden Hodge, 21, of Dallas, and Antonio Jackson, 23, of Phoenix, were found guilty on March 5 of two counts of human trafficking – victim under the age of 21 and one count of human trafficking – victim under the age of 18.

Officials stated that, in September 2024, a missing 13-year-old was found after Texas investigators found information online indicating that the child was being prostituted in Gonzales.
