A range of extreme weather threatens Massachusetts on Thursday, from severe thunderstorms to dangerously high temperatures to poor air quality, according to the National Weather Service.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday evening and overnight as a warm front makes its way into the state. Western and Central Massachusetts have the greatest chance of experiencing the rain and storms before midnight, but most communities are expected to see some precipitation in the early morning.
