NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A North Charleston man was arrested after police say he kidnapped and severely assaulted a woman at an apartment complex on Ladson Road.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to MMA Commerce Park Apartments, located at 3785 Ladson Road, early Thursday morning after receiving multiple reports of a woman screaming for help and being violently assaulted by a man. Dispatchers also received several reports of gunshots heard in the area.
