ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Five members of the Atlanta-based gang GoodFellas have been sentenced to federal prison.
The sentencing comes after the members were convicted of several gun and drug charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia said.
“These gang members maimed children in a drive-by shooting, beat and robbed a man, introduced poisonous drugs into a state prison, trafficked cocaine, and unlawfully possessed firearms,” U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg said in a statement. “We will continue to partner with federal and local law enforcement to dismantle the GoodFellas gang and prosecute its members who engage in violence or traffic drugs in our community.”…
