ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The second-ever “Nokefest,” a three-day camping musical festival, is making its return to the Roanoke Valley. Organizers say the event is a time to feature local bands, art, and the great outdoors.
“Our goal was to celebrate and promote Roanoke and southwest Virginia as a whole,” said Kody Reed, the festival director. “There’s so much in this area that’s beautiful, whether it’s the outdoors, the arts, or the music, and we kind of wanted to create a space for people to come that celebrates locally and specifically kind of looks at Roanoke.”
