San Elizario Chase Chaos: Man Busted After Alleged Road Rage Ram

What deputies say began as an intentional vehicle ram in San Elizario on June 7 ended with a brief chase, a struggle, and a trip to jail for a 41-year-old driver.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested Samuel Dominguez after he allegedly rammed a pickup, tried to get away in his blue Mazda, and then resisted as officers moved in. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility, where he remained in custody pending further court action.

How deputies say the chase unfolded

According to KFOX14/CBS4, the Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched at about 1:44 p.m. to the intersection of Chicken Ranch Road and Socorro Road after a report that a blue Mazda had intentionally struck a blue GMC pickup.

Deputies later found both vehicles in the 13800 block of Socorro Road. Investigators say the Mazda took off, kicking off a short pursuit through the area before it was brought to a stop in the 12900 block of Alnor Street.
