MILWAUKEE, Wis (WFRV) — This past Tuesday night, the FBI’s Milwaukee Area Violent Crime Task Force (MAVCTF), Milwaukee Area Safe Streets Task Force (MASSTF), and the Milwaukee Police Department’s District 1 teamed up for enforcement operations in downtown Milwaukee.

During the operation, multiple firearms and narcotics were recovered, according to the FBI’s Facebook post.
The enforcement is part of Operation Summer Heat 2.0, an FBI directive to crush violent crime in the summer months. The FBI aims to “aggressively restore safety” in communities across the country by working with local, state, and federal partners, the Milwaukee FBI said in the post.
