Repaving is happening between the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge and Geiger Road this summer. Crews will be replacing broken and worn concrete. Crews will be working just feet away from passing traffic behind barriers and cones.

To encourage drivers to slow down, the work zone speed camera will be on site as an added safety tool. The goal of the program is to encourage drivers to follow the speed limit in the work zone.
Enforcement will only take place when crews are working. The fine for a first time violation is $125, and $248 for repeat offenses.
