LAFAYETTE, N.Y. – Just two people have owned the five-bedroom contemporary house at 1700 Sky High Road, built on 12 wooded acres on a hill near LaFayette, since it was finished in 1974.
Charles “Chuck” Evans, the home’s original owner, who passed away in 2023, and Savannah Wright, the home’s savior, never met. But they became something like kindred spirits after she bought his house in 2024 after graduating from SUNY ESF.
