The market for existing homes is making a bit of a resurgence in Lafayette Parish with sales approaching pre-pandemic numbers.
Sales through May are now at 1,012, while the share of existing homes out of the total homes sold is at 71.8%, both the highest since 2022 when the market exploded due to historically low interest rates.
