MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A heroic story out of Milwaukee, where a county bus driver stepped up and helped a young girl in need.
Video from February shows a worried child boarding the bus near 27th and Hopkins just before midnight and asking the driver about any 24-hour shelters.
Instead of dropping her at a shelter, Yanitza Molina sprung into action and got the young passenger the help she needed. She contacted dispatch so a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) route supervisor could come and take the girl to safety…
