Woman charged with attempted murder after Albany stabbing

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — A 45-year-old Albany woman has been indicted for an attack on a man last week.

Ronita Roberts was arraigned in front of the Honorable Roger McDonough Friday afternoon and charged with Attempted Murder, Assault in the First Degree and Assault in the Second Degree.

According to Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon, On June 2 around 1:25 p.m., Albany Police responded to 400 Central Ave. for reports of an individual who had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located a 67-year-old male with a stab wound to his neck.
