Presque Isle State Park reopened Friday morning after power was restored to the park Thursday evening following outages caused by severe storms earlier in the week.
According to Mary Jo Rutkowski, community relations specialist for Presque Isle State Park, electricity was restored late Thursday, allowing the park to resume normal operations when it opened at 5 a.m. Friday.
While the park is once again welcoming visitors, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center remains closed as crews continue working to restore power to the facility…
