A 34-year-old Pennsylvania woman is facing charges after authorities say she pushed her 63-year-old mother into a wall, causing a fatal fall down a flight of stairs.
Elissa Blair Waltman, of the 300 block of Laurel Street in Lancaster, was charged Thursday with involuntary manslaughter and simple assault in connection with the death of her mother, Eileen Flugrath.
The incident unfolded on the morning of April 5, 2026, inside Flugrath’s home in the 100 block of Pickwick Place in Millersville Borough. Police arrived at the house shortly after 10:30 a.m. and found Flugrath injured and bleeding at the bottom of the stairs.
