DELAWARE – The YMCA of Delaware is inviting families to all of their locations for various free programming in honor of Juneteenth.
On Friday, Jun. 19, all YMCA locations will be open to the public at no cost (excluding outdoor pools) with special activities and events planned.
“We celebrate this powerful moment in our nation’s history and honor the enslaved individuals who endured unimaginable hardship,” the YMCA of Delaware said. “As we reflect, we also encourage our neighbors to join us in taking social responsibility in our communities.
