Jeff Martin is a short guy with a wide neck.

To find a button-up shirt that fits properly is, well, challenging. If it fits his neck, it’s too big everywhere else. And those shirts are only found in the big and tall section, which often has limited designs.

So Martin, a certified exit planner in Lafayette, got the idea to launch a business that sells custom clothes for short and fat guys. And he found a partner when he met Blake Adams, a financial planner who stands about 5-foot-2, at a Catholic retreat…
