BRILLION, Wis. (WBAY) — What started as a small fundraiser in Brillion has grown into a community tradition that has helped send hundreds of veterans on the trip of a lifetime.
For over 11 years, the annual brat fry put on by Primary Companies has helped raise thousands of dollars for Missions of Honor and the Old Glory Honor Flight, helping send veterans to Washington, D.C.
“It is very impressive because we’re a city of 3,000 people, and we can raise $50,000 a year,” said Donald Mathiebe, vice president of Primary Companies. “There’s not a lot of bigger towns around here that can raise that kind of money. People in this town are very generous.”…
