MISSISSIPPI (KTVE/KARD) — The Mississippi Department of Transportation have made repairs to the roadway buckle on the eastbound lanes of State Route 18 in Hinds County.

All repairs made last night on Highway 18 smoothed out the affected section fairly well, with “bump” signs installed as a precaution.
“Buckles can form due to excessive heat, causing concrete to “buckle up” and expand. With the hottest days of the summer still ahead, drivers should pay close attention while driving and be aware of the potential for more road buckles.”…
