Tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms for parts of southern Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Mostly sunny skies with breezy winds—gusty at times—while temperatures climb back into the triple digits. Increasing moisture today will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, mainly east and south of Tucson, with the greatest impacts in Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties. That added moisture sets the stage for more storm chances Sunday and Monday.

We dry out Tuesday, but models hint at another surge of moisture late in the work week. Temperatures stay near 100°, with a slight dip into the upper 90s Thursday.
