HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A strong thunderstorm in the Longs community brought down a tree across utility lines and onto a home, prompting an emergency response and leaving one person displaced, according to Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
At 4:19 p.m., HCFR crews were dispatched to Highway 905 and Loop Circle for an electrical hazard incident after the tree fell across the lines and a house.
