A few showers will remain on Sunday. Temperatures will be much more comfortable, below average and with less humidity. Highs will be mainly in the 70s. Keep in mind, Wichita’s average high is 87 this time of year! Any leftover isolated showers Monday morning will wane. Highs will be in the 70s on Monday. Tuesday, we begin to warm with the heat peaking on Wednesday. Temps over Western Kansas will hit the upper 90s to the triple digits. The humidity will also build farther east. Right now, it looks like a chance for some storms on Tuesday. There is also a threat for severe weather to the east on Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday also appear unsettled.
