Family, friends and fans honor Al Hurricane Jr. at Albuquerque funeral mass

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s a sad day for many New Mexicans who loved the late Al Hurricane Jr. Dozens of people packed an Albuquerque church to remember the musician weeks after his passing.

Family, friends and many fans touched by al hurricane junior came together to get closure over the beloved singer. All saying his unique presence and music will live on in New Mexico.

A day of mourning and remembering of the legendary New Mexican musician Al Hurricane Jr. at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church Saturday to pay their respects. The funeral mass began with fond memories shared with Al Jr. One memory even coming from the priest.
