SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – It was certainly a steamy and stormy afternoon in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. It felt like 111° in Beaufort until it stormed. I’m still tracking storms until sunset, which is at 8:31pm.
There is a cold front attempting to move east southeast and be oh so close Monday before stalling through Wednesday. A classic early-summer pattern will remain established across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. Expect the afternoon sea breeze to push inland each day and collide with other outflow boundaries from aforementioned front enhancing thunderstorms.
Monday: 74/95, 40% chance of afternoon rainstorms…
