VIRGINIA – As many hit the road for summer travel, gas prices are continuing to fall. 10 News is working for you to break down what drivers can expect across the region.
Currently, the average price of regular gas in Virginia is $3.81, according to AAA. Premium averages $4.69 per gallon, while diesel averages $5.05 per gallon.
Drivers in the Star City are beginning to see some relief at the pump. According to GasBuddy’s survey of 155 stations in Roanoke, average gas prices in the city have dropped 17.2 cents per gallon over the past week, now averaging about $3.73 per gallon. Compared to a month ago, prices are down 46.7 cents per gallon. However, they remain 80.6 cents per gallon higher than this time last year…
