A lawsuit has been filed against the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office alleging excessive force, violation of civil rights and gross negligence.
The suit was filed June 9 in the Eastern District of Michigan United States District Court against LCSO, Sgt. Kendall Kretzschmer, Deputy Ryan Tibbetts and Deputy Bryan Uzoni by Gregg Kidney of Monroe County.
In his filing, Kidney alleges officers used excessive force when they pulled him over on July 7, 2024. He also claims they ignored visible signs that he was having a stroke and failed to immediately call EMS. He is seeking damages and declaratory relief, as well as costs and attorney’s fees…
