HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Hartselle man has been charged with assault after being involved in a dispute at a car impound lot, according to authorities.
Hartselle Police said the incident began when Kendell Montez Turney, 35, of Hartselle, went to a local business on June 10 to retrieve a vehicle from the impound lot.
During a dispute over the vehicle’s impoundment, Turney got into his vehicle and exited through a secured gate. Authorities said that the employees of the business tried to stop him, but Turney continued driving, hitting an employee, which caused them to be injured.
