Neighbors in a north Alabama community are protesting the possible killing of hundreds of Canada Geese that live in a lake in Madison.
Protestors in the Edgewater community are fighting back against plans to euthanize more than 225 geese in the neighborhood lake. There have been two days of protests in the area and a petition that’s gained over thousands of signatures in a matter of days.
On June 8, the Edgewater Home Owners Association voted to euthanize geese at the Lady Ann Lake because of health and safety concerns.
