Metro Council member pushing for more smart signals in Hermitage

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Recent changes to an intersection in the Hermitage area are making a positive impact on traffic flow.

Now, District 14 Metro Council member Jordan Huffman wants to see more of that in the area.

A few weeks ago, the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure tweaked the timing of the lights at the Old Hickory Boulevard and Andrew Jackson Parkway-Dodson Chapel Road intersection to keep the lights green for longer.
