A routine hop across California turned tense on Sunday when a private jet carrying two people made an emergency landing at Mather Airport after a cockpit warning light flagged a problem with the landing gear. According to KCRA, the jet had departed Modesto and was headed for Monterey when the pilot abandoned the approach there and diverted to Mather.
